We
are located in the heart of the Midwest, right where Illinois,
Iowa and Wisconsin come together. Nine miles Northwest of Galena,
IL, the #2 tourist attraction in the state of Illinois. We have
24 beautiful acres of cedar trees, timber and a spring fed creek
running right through it all. Hence the name of our kennel,
"Cedar Springs". We have enjoyed the companionship
of our Labradors for 37 years. Our three children grew up with
Labradors. We started to get more involved with the breed in
the past 15 years, when we started to show in competition. We
entered our black male, Kipp, in a local show and he won his
puppy class and the judge pulled me aside and told me he was
a very nice puppy and that I would do very well with him. The
next day he was also entered and he won Reserve Winners Dog
out of the puppy class. Well, needless to say, I was hooked!
